MineRP Natural Resource Governance workshop - Turkey

The Turkish Minster of Energy and Natural Resources held a MineRP Natural Governance workshop for his government officials on 23 March 2017.

The workshop focused on a strategy supported by class-leading technology, ensuring sustainable use and well-governed exploitation of Turkey’s Mineral assets. The main objective of the workshop was to present and discuss how to empower the Government and the Industry with a reliable control system for effective and efficient National Resource Management in Turkey.

With influential participants from various governmental departments such as the Directorate General of Mining Affairs (MIGEM) and the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA), the workshop proved to be very valuable for each of the attending delegates.
