The MineRP CATe Database is a logical data store connecting the list of production and other planned activities (A) on the mine with the capabilities (resources doing work, locations where work is done and other limited entities constraining the amount or type of work that can be done) through a single Master Time Calendar.

The CATe database further integrates with environmental monitoring solutions to remain informed about the physical status of environmental conditions in the workplaces where work was scheduled to be conducted.

Business areas where planning occurs can all publish their individual schedules to the CATeDB, where MineRP is able to combine these schedules into a single Master Business Schedule, optimise the schedule or solve for targets such as blending or other objectives, and publish the optimised Master Business Schedule for execution.
